Make Money With Adwords

What To Do To Make Money With Adwords: a guide to getting the best return on investment using Google Adwords. What to do to make money with Adwords is a big question if, like me, you’ve nearly lost your shirt in the past and ended up spending money and gaining precisely zero. However, there is a way to make money with Adwords but you must know what you are doing. Google adverts appear either at the beginning of the usual organic searches, usually as Sposored Links, or more generally at the right hand side of the page. Adverts also appear in Google’s technology places, as Adwords on relevant content pages and in Google Networks including sites that are enrolled in Google’s Adsense program. The primary features of Adwords are cost-per-click pricing, advert impressions and click through rates, and language and location targeting. Check Google Adwords out now!

Cost-per-click pricing means just that, Your advert appears on the right hand page of Google, an internet browser has put a keyword into Google and is searching for your niche. He or she sees the advert and decides to click on it. The advantage here is it doesn’t matter how often your advert appears. This is totally different to traditional media such as the press whereby you pay whether anyone actually reads your advert or not. With Google Adwords you are only charged when a browser clicks on it and is taken to your website. The disadvantage, of course, is that the visitor to your website may not buy anything so you have paid for the click and haven’t made a sale.

Click through rates are very important as the higher your CTR the more Google will reward you. Look at these examples:
Advertiser A:                         20 clicks                        =    0.02 = 2.0%
                                                1000 impressions

Advertiser B:                        3 clicks                          =   0.03 = 3.0%
                                                100 impressions
Location and language targeting means that you can aim your advert at different regions of the world and in different languages if you so wish. For example, if California is a good source of customers – wealthy area with people with excess money to spend – you could consider an advert in Spanish to try and extend your customer base. This is just an example of what you can do. You can target individual cities if you want to. It all depends upon whether your business is local, UK targeted or global.
